Want to Nominate a Worthy
Non-profit? 

New Procedure for nominating non-profits to 100 Women Who Care - Eugene/Springfield:

Someone from 100 WWC will email you the necessary forms. 

Nominations are due one month prior to the next meeting.

Any current member of 100+WWC-ES can nominate one eligible organization per meeting.

 

Organizations may only receive funding once every two years. Before submitting a nomination, please verify that the organization has not received funding in the past two years by checking the "Past Recipients" page. 

 

Process Summary

 1.   Verify that the organization you want to nominate is eligible (see below).
 

 2.   Gather the required information for your nomination:  Meet with the nonprofit staff to

       get the information needed to fill out your nomination form, verify that the information is

       accurate and complete, and have it signed.

 

 3.   Before one month prior to the meeting, send the completed and signed form to

       100WWC-ES, c/o Malinda Blustain, 181801 Happy Lane, Eugene, 97401.

 

 4.   Plan and review your presenting information. Practice it alone and with a friendly

       person at home. (Presentations and Q & A must not exceed 10 minutes.)

 

Eligible Organizations


Eligible organizations include any 501.c.3 nonprofit that serves the broader Eugene-Springfield area the meets the following criteria:

 

  1. The organization is a 501.c.3 local organization (or local chapter), sponsored program, or project under the umbrella of a legal nonprofit.
     

  2. The organization does not promote political or partisan standings, or religious beliefs, behaviors, or activities.
     

  3. No portion of 100+WWC-ES Members’ donations will be taken as a fee for fiscal or administrative management by an umbrella, sponsoring agency.
     

  4. If the umbrella nonprofit is faith or interfaith-based, *no recipient is to be exposed to or required to participate in religious activities, doctrines, or beliefs, and * checks may include the program name on the “Pay to the order of” line.
     

  5. The organization will not use, give, or sell the contact information of 100+WWC-ES members, for any purpose.

 

Required Information

 

The following information must be submitted as a part of your nomination package (Include extra pages as needed):

 

  • Populations served (types, numbers or percentage)

  • What our funds would be specifically used for

  • Annual Budget, estimated or approximate

  • Percentage of donations taken for Administration purposes by the organization and the project/program.

  • Funding sources 

  • Staffing and volunteer work

 

Prepare & Present

 

    • Reread the procedures prior to nominating a nonprofit. 

    • Reread and Practice your presenting materials prior to the upcoming meeting.

    • The nominating member must be present or may name 1-2 other members to give the presentation and lead            the Q&A.
